• 1 lb ground beef or plant-based crumbles
  • ½ cup Drunken Garlic Black Bean sauce
  • ½ of an onion chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 can sliced water chestnuts drained and cut in quarters
  • Lettuce – romaine leaves or leaf lettuce. Break off the leaves and rinse. Dry with a
    paper towel.
  • Sliced green onions and sliced radishes to use as toping
  • Kimchi – We use Choi’s Kimchi


  • Sauté the onions in oil until soft on medium high heat
  • Add ground beef or plant-based crumbles and cook until browned
  • Add Drunken Garlic Black Bean Sauce, heat through, about 1 minute on medium high
  • Add water chestnuts and cook for about 1 minute or until hot
  • Scoop mixture into lettuce leaves.
  • Top with green onions and/or radishes
  • Serve Kimchi on top or on the side
