Scorpion Kimchi Burger
We take an Asian twist on an American classic with this spicy burger recipe featuring kimchi (a spicy, umami-rich Korean fermented cabbage) and Secret Aardvark Red Scorpion Fiery Hot Sauce. Ingredients:
½ cup milk
½ cup mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sour cream
1 tsp Drunken Garlic Black Bean Sauce
¼ cup thinly chopped bell pepper
1 tsp Asian fish sauce
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 small, grated garlic clove
2 tablespoon Red Scorpion Fiery Hot Sauce
Kosher salt
Pepper
1 ½ lbs. ground pork (or 4 plant-based burger patties)
Havarti Cheese
Kimchi
Cilantro for garnish
4- hamburger buns
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the first 9 ingredients. Season the sauce with salt & pepper.
If using meat: Form the ground pork into ¾-inch- thick patties; season with salt and pepper, and place them on the grill. If using plant-based burger patties: place them on the grill.
Cook the burgers over moderate heat, 3 to 4 minutes (or, if using plant-based patties, follow the instructions on the package. Flip, top each with a slice of cheese and cool through, about 5 minutes.
These patties can be cooked in a cast-iron skillet or grill! Assemble your burger by spreading the sauce on each side of burger bun. Add pork patty, slice of cheese, kimchi, and cilantro.
