Scorchin’ Reaper Elote
Elote is one of THE most popular Mexican street foods for a reason. It’s a drippy flavor explosion right in your mouth (and sometimes down your shirt). Now you can add a heat explosion with this recipe starring our blazin’, but oh-so-tasty, Aardvark Reaper Smoked Hot Sauce.
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes to boil. 20 minutes on grill.
Total Time: 10 – 25 minutes
Ingredients
Four ears fresh corn
1/4 cup mayo
1/2 cup cotija cheese
Aardvark Reaper Smoked Hot Sauce
1/4 cup cilantro
One lime quartered
Instructions
Grill freshly shucked corn for 5-7 minutes on medium heat or boil for 5 minutes
When corn is not too hot to the touch, brush with 1 tbsp mayo, sprinkle with 2 tbsp cotija cheese, and add a squeeze of lime juice
Drizzle Aardvark Reaper Smoked Hot Sauce to taste and sprinkle with salt and cilantro. Serve with lime wedge on the side.
