A sweet and spicy glaze featuring Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce adds fire and tanginess to traditional roasted squash, making it a hugely crowd-pleasing side for the holidays or any time!

2 lbs butternut or acorn squash (cleaned and cut into wedges 1-inch thick)

2 tablespoons Secret Aardvark Habanero Sauce

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/2 cup red wine vinegar

1/4 cup honey

2 teaspoons garlic powder

Sea salt and pepper


Preheat oven to 400°.

Place squash on baking sheet. Drizzle with oil, sprinkle with sea salt and pepper.

Roast for about 20 minutes or until squash is tender and starts to brown.

Mix the vinegar, honey, Hab Sauce, and garlic powder and bring to a light boil in a saucepan. Then, simmer for 10 minutes, or until sauce thickens.

Brush the glaze sauce over squash and serve.
