Once upon a time, the heavens opened up, and down came pesto. Mmmm. Basil and parsley are in season, so whip up a batch! For grilling, try slathering it on salmon, chicken, or shrimp. It also makes a great dipping sauce for bread, veggies, and crackers! Dose it with our Hab Sauce to taste.

Preparation Time: 15 Minutes


2 cups basil leaves 

½ cup parsley 

½ cup olive oil 

½ cup pecorino cheese 

½ cup pecans 

Juice from 1 lemon and zest (buy organic!) 

1 teaspoon salt 

2 tablespoons Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce


Blend all ingredients.

Store pesto in the refrigerator.
