We all love classics for a reason, and this bowl of go-to beef-and-bean chili—featuring our O.G. Hab sauce—speaks for itself. Something along the lines of, “Damn! I’m good!”

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef

1 small onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes

1 (6 oz) can tomato paste

1 ½ cups beef broth

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1-2 tablespoons Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce (adjust to taste)

1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions and cook until softened (about 5 minutes).

Add garlic and ground beef, breaking it up as it cooks. Cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).

Stir in chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Cook for 1 minute to toast the spices.

Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, kidney beans, black beans, and beef broth. Stir to combine.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Add Secret Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce and simmer for another 10 minutes. Adjust seasoning as needed.

Serve with toppings like shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped cilantro.
