We might be a little biased, but we’re huge fans of giving locally-made gifts to our friends and family—especially edible gifts! We asked our team members what Portland-made products they plan on gifting in 2020, and here’s what they said.

Choi’s Kimchi

Why We Love It: We were heartbroken to hear that the co-founder of Choi’s Kimchi, Matt Choi, unexpectedly passed away in October, and we’re gifting this kimchi far and wide this year in tribute to his wonderful life and accomplishments. Choi’s kimchi is hand-crafted in small batches from generations-old recipes. They use the highest-quality ingredients (something we always appreciate) and you can taste the love, dedication, and mastery of their kimchi in every bite.

Recommended Product: Spicy Napa Cabbage Kimchi

Where You Can Buy It: Online and in stores across the Pacific Northwest

Seely Mint

Why We Love It: Seely is a fourth-generation mint farm that sells classic minty products including mint patties, mint bark, mint melts, mint teas, and the seasonally-appropriate candy canes.

Portland Coffee Roasters

Why We Love It: Portland has no shortage of great coffee roasters, but our favorite is Portland Coffee Roasters. Not only do they roast excellent coffee, they’re also invested in supporting communities. For example, sales from this year’s Holiday Roast will benefit the organization Food 4 Farmers!

Bob’s Red Mill

Ground Up Nut Butters

Why We Love It: A lot of us grew up with mass-produced peanut butter, but fresh-ground nut butters like those from Ground Up Nut Butters changed the game for us. They have dozens of inventive flavors, including some amazing holiday options. Plus, they sell their nut butters in packets, which makes it ideal for camping.
