Poutine Aardvark Style
We love poutine but we like it spicy! Here is what you will need.
- Poutine Gravy
- 1 bag Frozen French Fries
- 6 ounces of Cheese Curds
- Aardvark Habanero Hot Sauce or Serrabanero Green Hot Sauce.
- Air Fryer
Poutine Gravy – this makes 2 servings
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 3 Tbsp all purpose flour
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp Beef Better Than Bullion
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Melt the butter on medium high heat in a saucepan. Wisk in the flour.
- Add the chicken broth, beef broth, and beef bouillon. Stir to combine.
- Bring gravy to a boil. Decrease to medium low. Continue to whisk to ensure that it blends in smoothly.
- Let it gently simmer until its of desired thickness. The longer it simmers, the more concentrated the flavor will become.
French Fries – Follow the instructions on your air fryer.
Add the cooked fries to a cast iron skillet or on a baking sheet. Toss with hot gravy. Add Cheese curd and place in the oven at 375 for 5 minutes to melt the cheese.
Top with copious amounts of Aardvark hot sauce or add a few drips here and there!
